Ask Ro:: What's a good cleansing line for combination skin?

Thursday, September 13, 2012

Tracy asked:: Can you help me? I'm in need of a good cleanser for my combination skin in the summer and dry skin in the winter. What do you recommend?

Ro Recommends::
I certainly understand the combination skin in the summer and battling dry skin in the winter especially because I personally tackle the same issue. Below are some of my skincare solutions and hopefully they help you manage the changes the skin can sometimes put our skin through.

ORGINS Checks and Balances Face Wash
What it does: The ORGINS Checks and Balances Face Wash helps to balance your the dry and oily sections of your face. This cleanser does a great job of making the skin even without causing extreme dryness and helping to control the oily areas of the face. This is one of my favorite cleansers year round and it does a great job of helping with the woes of combination skin.
Price: $20 Available at any ORGINS counter or Sephora

Perricone MD Firming Facial Toner

What it does:: Perricone MD Firing Facial Toner is a non-drying toner that helps to restore the natural pH  balance of your skin and provides the skin with anti-aging benefits to help keep your skin firm and smooth.
Price:: $39 Available at Sephora

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense

What it does:: Hands down, this gel-creme is one of my favorite moisturizers because it restores moisture without feeling greasy and it makes my skin feel so great. The oil-free formula works to rehydrate the face keeping it plum and restoring the moisture barrier.
Price:: $37 Available at Clinique

Glo Therapeutics Nourishing Facial Oil
What it does:: This unscented oil helps to restore nutrients to the skin and provides intense moisture to the skin. I recommend using this oil about once or twice a week during the very cold winter months at night, your skin will thank you and the moisture will last for days.
Price:: $42 Available at gloprofessional.com

    Hopefully some of these pics help some of your skin woes Tracy.
