Over the last few weeks I've shared some of my frustrations with my hair from wanting to cut it all off and learning how to fix my bad hair days with head scarves. I've been wearing my hair in bun lately and decided it was time to tackle my curls and kinks head on and start learning how to manage my hair on a daily basis (more on that later). For me there's nothing better than a great hair color to make me love my hair again so while beauty shopping the other day I decided to pick up some hair color. I knew that with such a drastic change I'd be forced to find some styling solutions especially since my hair in a bun hair would no longer match.
When it comes to hair color I love reds on me so I decided to go with Dark and Lovely "Red Hot Rhythm." Check out my hair pre/post color as well as a review on the color and process below.
Clearly it was time for a new color, I was staring to look a hot mess!

My Results:
Anyone could apply this hair color, the directions are beyond simple and their aren't many steps. I loved that the color didn't run and there wasn't a harsh smell. I left the color on my hair for the suggested 30 min (suggested for natural hair) and the color came out great in my opinion. If you're looking for a color that isn't going to fade and provides conditioning then Dark and Lovely Fade-Resistant Rich Conditioning Color is great for you.
