Product Review:: Carols Daughter MACADAMIA Hold & Control Smoother

Since I've gone natural it's become increasingly difficult to get smooth edges with the absence of the relaxer I once used to depend on to get my edges to stay straight and tamed. I wear my natural hair in some styles that require for my edges to be tamed and lay flat from time to time so I've been on the hunt for a great edge control product. If you've used a edge control smoother or gel for your edges before then you know that some products can tend to leave a heavy residue in your hair, turning it white and causing flaking.

I'd heard so many rave reviews about the Carols Daughter Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother that I had to see what all they hype was about.

The Details::
The Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother is a gel-wax pomade used to smooth edges. Infused with Macadamia Oil and Honey to protect and heal the hair your hair will be resistant to breakage and have a smooth shine.

My Results::
Perhaps I'm just a natural born skeptic because I was thinking "this can't be that good...I've tried them all" but thankfully I gave the Hold & Control Smoother a chance because it definitely proved me wrong! Immediately I noticed the amazing scent and lightweight formula. Upon first use I was pleasantly surprised with the shine and hold the product produced.

The real test was a few days later when I knew for sure there would be flaking and a white buildup but my skeptical self had to take a firm seat because I experienced nothing of the sort then using this product. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and my edges certainly thank me too!

Although the $22 price tag may seem a bit hefty, it's well worth the investment. A little tip:: A little product goes a very long way so don't go overboard!
