Whew!! It’s been entirely too long since I’ve written and quite honestly I feel like a neglectful parent! I’ve shared a few personal things with you all (the job loss, the job hunt…even a first date story) so I feel it my obligation of sorts to share with you where I’ve been (wish I had a sunny beach tale) and what’s taken me away from my ‘baby’…my blog.
New Job::What can I say, I’m blessed to have found a job in this economic climate and to have found a job that allows me to work in and with makeup ALL DAY! I’m learning so much BUT the standing for 8hrs a day is taking a toll. I’m in a managing role and there is definite pressure to meet and exceed goals…blah blah blah. Basically, I’m worn out!
Life:: It happens…right? Ended a relationship that meant so much to me and it kind of just knocked me off my game…ladies, you know how that can be.
Motivation:: I quite simply lost it, I think that I’d invested myself in others and other projects so much that I lost sight of what I needed and wanted.
Thanks to all of you for the kind words and tweets and thanks for hanging in there with me during my unexpected leave of absence!
I promise to get back in the swing of things and bring you the best of beauty and some of my thoughts along the way!
